Message Anyone considering timing belt replacement for the first time and intends to replace the front crank shaft oil seal, plan to use a drill with a small bit to dirll two holes in the sprocket, tap some threads and use a puller to pull the sprocket. This may sound like a lot but isn't that difficult. Getting those tools ready will save you some time. You will need a puller anyway but may not have the taps for doing the threading or the metal drill assortment for the drilling. A regular hand drill will work if you break approximately 1/3 off a full size bit. An air ratchet greatly assists the entire job too. ( Personally, I wouldn't try the job without one.)

Thanks to the site for making the work less daunting for an amateur.
